A Will Trust only becomes legally binding once you have passed away. On death, instead of the asset being inherited directly by a beneficiary, it is held in trust. This means the Trust is legal owner of the asset, and the trustees you have appointed in your Will have the responsibility of looking after the asset. You would typically include specific instructions for the trustees as to how the asset is to be used and by whom and also state who will be the ultimate beneficiary of that asset.
